For superior color management, also being exhibited is Presstek’s new DI AutoColor, a closed-loop color control system for DI presses, designed to provide highly consistent color, reduce makeready times, and help minimize ink and substrate waste even further. An impressive array of eco-friendly plates is available for commercial, newspaper, and narrow web label printers who can choose from chemistry-free, thermal, violet, inkjet, or waterless solutions. In the booth, Presstek will feature both thermal and inkjet CTP hardware and plates. GemPlate, a chemistry-free plate that develops on press, will be imaged on the new Presstek Dimension Pro2 thermal platesetter which can be bundled with Presstek service programs.
