Digital Printer RICOH (Booth 2035) Pro 8220s is a high speed, production black & white digital printer. There are six models with 96, 111, and 136ppm options available as a printer and as multi-functional printer. Canon created a wizard-driven procedure and software embedded in the PRISMAsync Color Print Server for imagePRESS digital color presses to remove the challenges to G7 calibration for a digital device. The PRISMAsync Color Print Servers include Canon’s own developed profi ling engine to create output profi les, either to achieve G7 targeted or colorspace conformance, or in order to improve gamut or consistency to better meet in-house goals. These DFE-based tools require no additional investment in software, hardware or training for the average end user to achieve high standards of quality and color consistency. Perfect Binder Spiel Associates Inc. (Booth 2617) Sterling Digibinder Plus is a fully-automated, perfect binder. The pneumatic clamp and the nipper adjust automatically. The unique roughing blade roughs and notches the entire backbone of the book, allowing for the binding of coated and oil infused stocks. Twin glue rollers ensure an even glue application and side glues. The machine produces pads or book blocks for hard-cover binding.
