RMGT 9 Series Press Earns GRAPH EXPO MUST SEE ‘EMS Award The RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology Ltd (RMGT) (Booth 1201) 9 Series LED-UV Press received the prestigious MUST SEE ’EMS Award at GRAPH EXPO 16. Recognized as “Best of Category” for the Offset Pressroom, this fi ve-color, eightup press, featuring LED-UV curing and SMART RPC technology, will be running live during GRAPH EXPO 16. “The new features of the press that garnered the MUST SEE ’EMS Award were shown for the fi rst time earlier this year at drupa 2016,” says Chris Manley, President of Graphco, Midwest Distributor for RMGT. “RMGT’s latest generation of the 9 Series press continues to refi ne makeready speeds thus reducing manufacturing cost. The enhanced user interface also dramatically reduces the amount of time devoted to pressroom maintenance,” concludes Manley. The RMGT 9 Series LED-UV press being exhibited at GRAPH EXPO 16 will feature a complete suite of newly developed automation technology that improves the user interface, ensures consistent operation of the press at full production speeds, and allows rapid adjustment of the press using a highly automated and proprietary system. This suite of components includes: • 55" video monitor at the color control console that provides a customizable display of all press operations. • A multiple video camera system (up to 10) that provides real time monitoring of all major press functions, provides 15-minute instant replay of the camera monitoring, and a WiFi-enabled hand held tablet that mirrors the 55" video monitor and allows touchscreen interface with the press video monitor. • An automated press adjustment module that provides an instant calibration testing for all ink roller and other pressure adjustments. • The 55" display system is the platform for the PQS Inspection, Color and Registration system that will be available in January of 2017, as shown at drupa, further reducing the run length difference between digital and offset. The on press camera system gives the press operator the confi dence to operate the press at full speed and the 15-minute instant replay allows for better adjustments and calibration of the press even while running. The WiFi enabled touch-screen tablet RMGT 9 Series LED-UV allows the press operator the physical physical freedom to operate the press from the best location to improve his productivity. The RMGT 9 Series is available in up to 10 colors in both straight and perfecting confi gurations. This is the third consecutive year for RMGT to be recognized with the MUST SEE ’EMS award. Previous award-winning technologies such as LED UV curing, Smart RPC, and Insta-Color continue to make the RMGT brand a strong player in the 16-page format arena and the latest version of the RMGT 9 continues this tradition.
