The Challenge
Even as a company who produces several
billion pages per year, Henry Wurst,
Inc. was seeing instances of high-volume
transactional work being lost. Th ey were
fi nding it diffi cult to be competitive
with pricing and production speed of
high volume digital 8.5”x 11” documents.
Space was also a concern as they
continued to expand. Th ey wanted to do
more, faster and with less of a footprint.
Th e goal was to expand their capabilities
on an inkjet device and increase their
outfl ow capacity to off er customers more
solutions in the future.
The Solution
Th e company saw an opportunity to
radically improve their effi ciency and
profi t margins and enhance their off erings.
Th e Xerox Rialto® 900 Inkjet Press’
design allowed them to remove the
primary barriers to entering the inkjet
market—cost, size, and complexity. Th is
gave them the ability to compete for
higher volume personalized color documents
with competitive pricing. And
as a result, gained them new projects
solely because they have the option for
high-speed digital color reproduction
with current and new customers.

Scalable for Growth
Even with the smallest roll-to-sheet
footprint on the market, the Rialto is
built to grow. Features such as the builtin
perforator and second inline stacker
off ers the ability to grow application
off erings and increase uptime. Th e addition
of the second stacker allows the
machine to run for an additional two
and a half hours instantly increasing
their production capacity by 10%.
