NSC UV Crystal Clear Transparent Inks Color Card
Nazdar has released a new version of its NSC UV Crystal Clear Transparent Inks Color Card. Th e
color presenter is sub-surface screen printed on clear polycarbonate to showcase the ten transparent
ink colors.
Nazdar NSC UV Crystal Clear Transparent Inks are designed for printing colored windows on
membrane overlays and consist of 10 high-density inks, a mixing clear, and an ink reducer. Th e
colors were formulated with maximum colorant loads to produce extremely high color saturation
while maintaining high transparency. NSC UV Crystal Clear Transparent Inks may be printed top
surface or sub-surface, and exhibit excellent clarity and very low haze.

the addition of PolarBond, a unique all-in-one label adhesive technology. Th is addition
expands the ID Images’ off ering of label solutions, especially for the food packaging market. Polar-
Bond is a powerful adhesive and will be available in semi-gloss, silver metalized paper, white &
clear BOPP, direct thermal and thermal transfer face stocks. Th is adhesive will not only cling to
meat and cheese packaging, but shrink wrap, waxy and high recycled content corrugate, and other
low surface energy packaging materials, and it is FDA 21 CFR 175.105 compliant for food packaging.

Linx Printing Technologies has widened its range of specialist inks with the introduction
of a new formula that meets the challenges of coding onto oily surfaces. Linx Black oil-penetrating
ink 1062 is able to print eff ectively through light layers of oil onto a wide range of
materials, including plastics, metal, glass and waxy surfaces. Linx 1062 ink also provides
good adhesion on Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) and other plastic fi lms, making it ideal for a
variety of both industrial and food applications.
Compatible with the full range of Linx 8900 printers, Linx 1062 ink is an MEK-based ink

and scales management soft ware to the
grocery retail and food service industries. Th e
Epson ColorWorks C7500 is certifi ed for use
with ADC’s Label Printing Manager that generates
barcoded labels for non-weighted fresh
food items in grocery or convenience stores,
such as bakery or fl oral.
With the Label Printing Manager, store associates
can utilize a networked PC-browser and
the Epson ColorWorks C7500 on-demand color
label printer to generate a barcoded label that
can be affi xed to a product’s packaging. Th e
barcoded labels can be custom designed to replicate
or enhance existing scale labels. Th e labels
can include the same information as those
labels printed by price lookup (PLU) computing
scales, including price, nutritional facts, allergen
warnings, and more.
