He also makes a point of reaching out to his neighbors. “We love giving back to the community,” he explained. “One thing we do every summer is welcome kids from local Philadelphia schools to work with us as interns in order to help keep them off the streets. We do all of these things because we want to show the community that we truly care and want to be part of the change that Philadelphia needs. It starts with passion, and I love what I do, but I also love the impact we can have as well in these areas.” He has not only leveraged his company’s membership of the Communications Workers of America as a union shop, but takes pride in being an active member in groups such as Business Network International, Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, the Philadelphia Convention & Vis- itors Bureau, and is a board member of the Entrepreneurs Forum of Greater Philadelphia. As for the year ahead, Arijaje’s goal is to keep growing the business and become part of the Minuteman Press President’s Club for top earners.
