News Avery Dennison Appoints New Graphics Solutions Marketing Leadership Avery Dennison has appointed Roxanne McSpadden as marketing director, Graphics for Materials Group North America. McSpadden will lead the product innovation and management team for digital and screen & cut media, manage the technical team as well as channel programs for the Graphics Solutions business segment. McSpadden will report to Shelley Woods Whiting, who was recently appointed as vice president marketing, Materials Group North America. In her new role, Whiting will lead the marketing organization and oversee development and implementation of commercial strategy for two business segments: Label and Packaging Materials and Graphics Solutions. MyPRINTResource.com/ 10003974 Roxanne McSpadden Shelley Woods Whiting Cully Receives IRgA 2015 George Bukovsky Award Michael Cully, president of AIR Graphics in Boston, has been awarded the 2015 George K. Bukovsky Award from the International Reprographic Association (IRgA). The Bukovsky Award recognizes individuals who have made significant, long-term contributions to the reprographics industry. Cully has been involved in the reprographics industry since working for Miller Blueprint while attending Northeastern University in the early 1970s. He became co-owner of that company in the mid 1970s, and sold it in 1986. Together with his brother Kevin and partner Kevin O’Neill, Cully opened Applied Image Reprographics in 1986. He remains president of that progressive reprographics firm, which is today known as AIR Graphics and has three locations in the Boston area. “As president and CEO of AIR Graphics, Mike leads a diverse group of talented professionals dedicated to serving the design community, making AIR Graphics a leading provider of services in New England,” noted Bob Roperti, owner of Jiffy Reprographics in Clearwater, Florida, in his nomination of Cully for the award. By partnering with ND Graphics, we will be able to shift our attention to industrial and non-graphic markets that offer untapped potential for our business.” MyPRINTResource.com/10005009 INX International Begins Operations at New Facility After breaking ground 15 months ago, INX International Ink Co. has begun the process of moving into its new 63,000 square-foot facility in Lebanon, OH. The manufacturing operation is home to nine employees who have moved from a smaller building about 21 miles southwest in Blue Ash, a suburb of Cincinnati. INX will employ approximately 38 people in Lebanon. The new facility sits on 11 acres of property in the Lebanon Commerce Center business park,. When completed, it will offer increased manufacturing space, a full service lab for color management and development, Quality Control and testing areas, and more space for employee training and customer meetings. For now, water and paste ink production is underway but more developments are expected to take place by the end of March.
