Ridango’s new smart self-service
validator brings innovation into
ticketing in trains. It enables
easy point-to-point ticket
purchase and pre-purchased
ticket validation. The validator
is compatible with Mifare family
cards, supports EMV contactless
and NFC communication. It
also includes 2D barcode reader
for reading ticket information
either from print-at-home
paper or mobile tickets. The
validator features 10-inch
touchscreen and is housed in
a strong aluminium case. It is
powered by Freescale i.MX6
processor, runs on Android and
features 4 internal sockets for
Secure Access Modules (SAM).

NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS VVTA
RFP 2017-13 OPERATIONS AND
MAINTENANCE SERVICES
The Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) is
seeking sealed proposals from interested
firms to operate and maintain transit
services in the Victor Valley operating out
of its Hesperia and Barstow Facilities. The
successful Proposer must be capable of
providing “turnkey” service to include
daily administration, management, service
planning, operations, and vehicle maintenance
to support VVTA’s Fixed Route and
Complementary Paratransit services.
Obtaining Proposal Documents
Proposal documents may be obtained
from Victor Valley Transit Authority, in
person at 17150 Smoke Tree Street,
Hesperia, CA 92345-8305 or electronically
at www.vvta.org/bids. Documents
are also available via email request to
cplasting@vvta.org. Proposals requested by
courier or via USPS mail shall be packaged
and sent only at the Proposers’ expense.
Proposal Due Date
Proposals must be received by 3:00 PM
Pacific Time on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
