SHOW ME YOUR TRUCK
Below left - On both trucks,
Dutrow keeps small parts and
individual sockets near the
workspace, while making sure
they are still on display, “so that
customers don’t forget about
that loose socket they lost.” All
warranty, repair and request
drawers are near Dutrow’s desk
for quick access.

Dutrow has some specific rules when it comes
to showing product inside his fleet: “Always
display products with labels and pictures
pointing out, use all available space, never
allow carpet to be exposed.”
Below right - “Always have a
display item out that the customer
can demo,” Dutrow says. Flashlights
are a good example.
Above - Cordless power tools: “Always put demos on display
and keep new ones in a box, separate,” Dutrow says.
