Expand Your Business with Real-world Wide Format Inkjet Workflows at GRAPH EXPO 15 PriscoDigital LLC (Booth 3607) is conducting live, continuous end-to-end workflow demonstrations at its booth, with various rigid media output on a system that includes the HP (Booth 1202) Scitex FB750 (first time in Chicago), the ultra-fast Esko Kongsberg XP24 automatic digital finishing system, and the Caldera RIP. Also being demoed is a flexible media workflow utilizing HP’s Latex 360 printer and a Graphtec roll cutter will also be running. In addition, PriscoDigital is exhibiting Ricoh’s (Booth 1231) latest color production printer, the RICOH Pro C7110X. Also of particular note is PriscoDigital’s roll-out of additional consulting and training services designed to enhance your business and include G7 Master Printer consulting and applications training services. Information on PriscoDigital’s workflow automation software, media, and other solutions that can optimize wide format inkjet production, will also be provided. According to Eric Gutwillig, VP of Marketing, “we are striving to demonstrate that integrating wide-format inkjet technologies within a traditional offset manufacturing environment can be easy and seamless. PriscoDigital offers turnkey workflow solutions that allow commercial and packaging printers to capture new business opportunities from within their existing customer base. Wide format printers can cost-effectively produce diverse applications, such as short-run packaging, product mock-ups, point-ofpurchase displays, or promotional items. Since we are the exclusive channel partner of HP Scitex for high-volume industrial systems within the commercial offset segment and a major Esko and Caldera distributor, we are able to offer our customers leading-edge wide format technologies.” PriscoDigital is excited to demonstrate the wide range of products that print service providers (PSPs), commercial printers, packaging printers, and others can produce utilizing high-speed production equipment and optimized software from HP Scitex, Caldera, and Esko. For the demo, prepared files processed through Esko i-Cut suite software are ripped though the Caldera RIP where color management also takes place, and then printed utilizing the HP Scitex FB750. Printed images comprised of intricate shapes are cut from the media utilizing Esko’s Kongsberg XP24 automated digital finishing system. The XP24 processes the image files through i-Cut Vision Pro software, which calculates the cutting position information that drives the cutting heads. For flexible media applications, PriscoDigital is showcasing HP’s latex inkjet printing technology utilizing the Latex 360 print engine. The Latex 360, utilizing 3rd generation eco-friendly water-based latex printing technology Esko’s Kongsberg XP24 automated digital finishing system inkjet printing, is within reach of every commercial printer. Latex is a proven print technology with over 19,000 HP Latex print engines installed worldwide. A company can easily integrate the Latex 360 into its existing workflow. With the addition of a Graphtec FC8600 roll cutter, a PSP has everything required to produce the outdoor and indoor banners, point-of-purchase signage, and other displays customers are asking for. A PSP can also expand its product portfolio to offer customers other printed products never-before dreamed of. PriscoDigital is now offering new media from Kodak (Booth 823) and HP options to its customers. Kodak is well known as a premier manufacturer of media for a variety of prepress proofing and high-end inkjet applications, reports Gutwillig. PriscoDigital is also offering HP Latex Media, the perfect complement to its HP Latex printer line, he adds. Information on the entire assortment of roll media, for decal through poster applications, is available at the PriscoDigital booth (3607).
